Come join Capital Tennis Association for a Pride Night Out at the Theatre
FEELING AFRAID AS IF SOMETHING TERRIBLE IS GOING TO HAPPEN
June 16 Tuesday 7:30pm
Studio Theatre, 1501 14th Street NW
Celebrate Pride Week with CTA at a special night of comedy, community, and queer joy at The Studio Theatre. Join us for a hilarious and heartfelt one‑man show from the producers of Fleabag and Baby Reindeer: Feeling Afraid as If Something Terrible Is Going to Happen.
After years of swiping, a perpetually single, gay, and professionally neurotic stand‑up finally meets Mr. Right — and then proceeds to do absolutely everything wrong. Buckle up for a darkly funny deep dive into self‑awareness, self‑sabotage, and the messy, terrifying, exhilarating pursuit of love. With razor‑sharp wit, the show tackles modern anxieties, intimacy fears, and the chaos of vulnerability, all delivered with a killer punchline.
By: Marcelo Dos Santos
Directed by: Matthew Xia
Featuring: Steven Webb as The Comedian
Running Time: 70 minutes, no intermission
Come laugh, cringe, relate, and celebrate Pride with your CTA family. It’s going to be a night to remember.
