The Hitting Partner Program pairs new members with veteran members for casual, outside of the league practice and socializing

For new members, please let the VP of Membership know when you sign up and receive your welcome email if you are interested in the program, and the VP of Membership will match you with a veteran member of your estimated ranking who lives in your general area.

For veteran members, if you are interested in becoming a hitting partner, please email the VP of Membership and indicate your interest. The veteran members who sign up to be hitting partners have the responsibility to meet with their assigned partner to hit outside of a league once, help answer any questions they may have about CTA, and are highly encouraged to introduce the new member to other members of CTA.

If you are interested in being a hitting partner, please send our Vice President of Membership, an email to sign up with your current rating and preferred areas to play outside of leagues (for example, if you like playing at courts in Georgetown, Capitol Hill, Arlington, etc), upon which they will add you to a roster. When a new member signs up and indicates interest in the program, the VP of Membership will look for a current member who matches their ranking and general geographic area and pair them. We hope that the geographic matching component of the program will help make it as convenient as possible for all involved.
