Back to CTA Coronavirus Status Main Page

July 1, 2020

Dear CTA,

We have for you the final piece of the puzzle for restarting leagues this summer (reminder: summer leagues registration opens tonight at 9pm EDT).  We have taken all available guidance from local officials and the USTA to develop a set of guidelines and requirements for safely returning to play with CTA.

In order to participate in CTA-organized activities going forward, including summer leagues, you are required to review and accept these guidelines and requirements via your responses to this Google Forms survey.  A copy of everything you are reviewing is provided via PDF attached for your reference, and also saved on the CTA website here.  Section one describes how league play will work so you know what to expect when you return to the courts with CTA.  Section two describes requirements we'll ask you to abide by in order to continue participating in league play, including, for example, seeking a sub, swap or someone to purchase your spot if you're exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.  Finally, section three is our updated liability waiver and release agreement.

Again, you are required to review and accept these guidelines and requirements via this Google Forms survey before your first league match, whether you've purchased the match or are subbing in (you do not need to review and accept before registration opens tonight, but we encourage you to do so if you can).  If you have any questions regarding anything we have laid out here, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.  And we thank you for doing your part and abiding by these guidelines and requirements to ensure the safety of everyone participating in CTA activities.

Best,

The CTA Board
