CTA Coronavirus Status Updates

  • Summer league play postponed until further notice.
    • We remain hopeful that we will be able to play our usual wide assortment of summer leagues.  However, the start of leagues will be delayed until our facilities reopen and play is able to safely resume in accordance with public health guidance and restrictions in place at that time. We will communicate updates as they become available. 

Other Updates:

  • In-House Singles Tournament (May 8-10) - POSTPONED - Our in-house singles tournament is postponed and will be rescheduled for later this year, likely in October.
  • In-House Doubles Tournament (June 5-7) - POSTPONED - Our in-house doubles tournament is also postponed until further notice.
  • Earth Day Volunteer Invitational Tournament (April 18) - POSTPONED - Until further notice.
  • Team DC Night of Champions Dinner (April 18) - CANCELLED - Team DC has decided to cancel this year's dinner.  Stay tuned for more details on next year's event.
  • CTA Spring Social (April 25) - POSTPONED - Our annual spring social at the Arlington YMCA is postponed until further notice.
  • Capital Pride Festival (June 14) - REIMAGINED - Please visit the Capital Pride website for updates on virtual and other festivities this year.

Tips from the DC Mayor's Office to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.  
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. 
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. 
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
  • Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if you have symptoms of acute respiratory illness.
  • Stay home from work or school until you are free of fever, signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours and without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medications.
  • Seek medical attention if you have reason to believe you have been exposed to coronavirus or influenza. Call your healthcare provider before visiting a healthcare facility.
