CCXIX uses GLTA rules regarding divisions:
- Open Highly Advanced Tournament Player, NTRP 5.0 and above
- A Advanced tournament Player, NTRP 4.5
- B Advanced Intermediate Player, NTRP 3.5 - 4.0 rating
- C Low Intermediate Player NTRP 3.0 rating
- D NTRP 2.5 or below rating
Split division option is available. No player may play down more than one level from his or her highest ranking. For example, a player who is rated as “Open” in doubles and “B” in singles cannot play below the “A” level. No player shall be allowed to play a lower division than that which he/she is listed under in the GLTA Seeding Point database issued for use during the tournament.
We offer singles consolation for first match losses. Division eligibility and seeding are based primarily on the latest GLTA ranking available. Special consideration may be given for recent GLTA or USTA results and is at the discretion of the tournament director.
